The Position
LEXIT sits between the map that never turns off and the group chat that never answers. It is a free app for a single evening — you switch it on when you go out, and it forgets you by tomorrow.
Every competitor sells permanence: history, timelines, a record of where you have been. LEXIT sells the opposite, and gives it away.
What It Does
Six behaviours, each one written as a state a friend would recognise rather than a feature a product team would name.
They Leave With a Stranger.
Notified Updates on Arrival.
Fastest Route to Location.
Who It Is For
Not families and not fleets. Four registers of the same night out, each hearing a different sentence first.
The Interface
One card, one shape, one shade of signal. The card carries the sample typing; the keys carry the state.
TONIGHT
SAMPLE INTERFACE — THE KEYS DO NOTHING HERE
STATES
Four states, one shape. Nothing else earns a key.
The Voice
One register: short, dated, and never anxious.
- Say what is deleted, and when.
- Name the moment: they left, they arrived, they are ten minutes out.
- Free means free. Say it once, plainly.
- Write the way a friend texts a friend.
Need-to-Know Basis
LEXIT is a need-to-know product. Show only the state that is live, only to the people already in the hang, and only for as long as the night lasts.
Never render a path, a heat map, or a history. Never charge, never upsell, never build a screen that would be worse without the deletion clock running.
