ONE STORY, FINISHED BEFORE the next begins, at the length the subject earns. No package, no sidebar, no companion gallery assembled so the page looks worked-on.
Breadth is the easy version and it dilutes to nothing inside two years. Narrowness is the only thing that compounds.
IT WILL READ AS underproduction for a while. Holding a position always does, right up until the point where the position is the only thing distinguishing the work from everything published beside it.
The alternative is fully staffed already: same eleven minutes, same three angles, forever.
IF A PIECE NEEDS six parts it gets six. If it needs two it gets two and the section stays quiet until the next one is ready.
Quiet is a publishing decision. Treated as one, it stops feeling like an absence.
