BETWEEN THE OBSERVATION DECK and the executive floor sit the levels where the building is actually run. They are described by nobody, photographed by nobody, and they hold every measurement that matters.
Ask about water pressure and you get the building's real plan — where it fails in August, which riser was undersized, what the fix cost and who paid for it.
THE LIFTS ARE FREE at two, so that is when the building moves. Furniture, plant, anything long. The crews who do it know the tower's dimensions better than the drawings do, because the drawings were never revised after the second fit-out.
Their account is verifiable at the moment it is made. That is the whole reason it goes first.
A LEASEHOLDER'S DESCRIPTION OF a building is a position, and positions change when the floor changes hands. Publishing one as though it were a reading is how a record becomes marketing without anyone deciding that it should.
Both go in. The order is what keeps them honest.
