Meridian Field — geo-estate equity

We read the ground before anyone signs for it.

Three ground trades under one badge: excavating, home inspection and land surveying. One crew that reads the dirt before anyone signs for it.

The Ground Comes First

Every property transaction turns on a question nobody in the room can answer: what is actually under it. Meridian Field answers that question three ways and signs its name to all three.

The competition sells a single trade and refers out the rest. Meridian holds the whole ground read — dig, inspect, survey — so the record has one author and one liability.

Three Trades, One Badge

Each service carries its own struck badge in the family: same shape language, same type, one changed line. Sub-brands are not permitted — the badge is the proof of one crew.

Meridian Field Excavating badge

Excavating

Make room for us. Good thing we also do excavating.

  • Site clearing and grade
  • Footings and trench
  • Haul-off and backfill
Meridian Field Home Inspection badge

Home Inspection

Home inspections are our middle name. Not really. If it was, that'd be weird.

  • Structure and footing read
  • Moisture, drainage, grade
  • Signed, dated findings
Meridian Field Land Surveying badge

Land Surveying

Land surveying on call. Can't get that much nicer than that. We love it. Land.

  • Boundary and topographic
  • Stake-out to the grade plan
  • Filed to county record

Who Calls Us

Three registers of buyer, one register of voice. What changes is the finding we lead with, never the tone.

WHO THEY ARE

Under contract, ten days of diligence left, and no idea what the crawlspace holds.

WHAT THEY WANT

A finding they can hand to a lender without a translation.

WHAT WE SAY

We inspect it, we date it, we sign it. You get the record, not an opinion.

Best of the Best Is a Record, Not a Claim

Superiority is asserted nowhere and evidenced everywhere: the turnaround, the certification, the fact that the report is signed. If a claim cannot be dated, it does not ship.

One office holds the excavation, the inspection and the survey — one signature on the record.
Findings are dated on delivery and never revised silently.
Licensed survey work, filed to county record, not sketched to a PDF.
Machines and crew are owned, not subcontracted at the last hour.
Every report answers the buyer's question in the first line.

The Palette

Struck ink on bone, one earth neutral, one instrument blue, and Marker held back for the single thing that matters in a view.

Type, linework, reversed fields.

Marker

One element per view. Never a background wash.

Moss

#B9B8AC

Earth neutral — plates, fills, quiet states.

Level

#5A6979

Instrument blue. Data and metadata only.

DISPLAY

Overleve Sans — 400

Set 42–74px, tracking +0.015em. One display line per screen.

BODY

Overleve Sans — 300

18px / 1.74. Measure held to 54 characters.

META

Overleve Sans — 300

11–12px, tracking +0.3em, uppercase. Labels and status only.

The Voice

Dry, dated, and short. The joke never delays the finding.

  • Say what was measured and when.
  • Plain nouns: grade, footing, boundary, load.
  • One joke per page, dry, never at the client's expense.
Life is too short not to dig up rocks badge

The motto badge is the one place the humour is allowed to lead. It goes on caps, stickers and the back of the truck — never on a report.

What the Badge Will Not Do

The badge is never rotated off its own arc, never split from its wordmark, never set over photography, and never rendered in more than the struck colours.

Marker is one element per view. A second accent, a gradient, or a drop shadow retires the badge from that piece entirely.
